** Minnesota Elite Girls Basketball Camp
1) Your coach, and other coaches from your conference and section nominated you for this camp. Our selection process is thorough and allows the best to compete against one another.
2) Quality of competition. Nearly 60% of our female players are All Conference performers. We plan on attracting a high percentage of All Conference male players as well. Those who are not tend to be from large school conferences or are younger players. This is an impressive stat when you consider that the all conference players attending the camp made their respective teams as juniors,
sophomores, or younger.
3) Each year 50-60 college coaches personally attend the camp. For many, we are the last camp they attend. If you play well, you leave a favorable last impression and increase the number of schools
interested in having you play for them.
4) We have been in business for 20 years. In that time we have gained a national reputation for running an organized camp that allows the coaches to evaluate talent. Others have attempted to copy the idea, but only the Minnesota Elite Camp has consistently had and average of 55 college coaches attend the camp.
5) 95% of our female players are from Minnesota. When you attend a national camp or tournament, you are competing against many more players. At the Elite Camp you are the featured attraction.
6) A good coaching staff primarily consisting of current high school coaches and current college basketball players. Who better to teach the little things that help you in a big way.
7) The height and quickness of our players allows you to play against the type of athlete you will play against in college. It does change the way you need to play. Playing against the best players in the state can only improve your game.
8) A chance to meet players from all over the state of Minnesota. We will have players from every section and corner of the state. You will become friends with your rivals. You will find you have much more in common than you every dreamed.
9) We attract coaches from Division 1, 2 and 3. Not everyone can be a Division 1 player. Our camp will have an equal number from each division.
10) College coaches recruit primarily in the summer. In the winter they are busy coaching their own team, while in the summer they get a chance to see you personally. Take advantage of this opportunity!
